Can I correct a misspelled name on a Delta ticket?

A name correction may be possible depending on the circumstances and applicable ticket rules. Delta maintains specific name-correction guidance for travel-agency partners, while its contract requires the passenger name to be accurate and states that tickets are not transferable.

Is a name correction the same as changing the passenger?

No. Correcting a spelling or passenger-information error is different from replacing the named traveler with another person. Delta's contract states that tickets are not transferable.

What if my ticket was booked through an OTA?

If an OTA or travel agency issued your ticket, contact that provider for servicing. Delta's Help Center specifically directs customers with third-party bookings to the original travel provider for assistance with changes and cancellations.

Does my boarding pass name need to match my ID?

Yes. Delta states that for U.S. travel, the name on the boarding pass must match the legal name on the required government-issued identification.

How can I get help if I am confused about a Delta name correction?

You can review your booking source and contact the appropriate servicing channel. For general assistance understanding your options, Tours N Travel Pro can be reached at +1-866-679-5070.
