Can I get a refund if Delta cancels my flight?

In eligible situations, yes. Delta’s current Contract of Carriage provides for a refund of unused transportation and eligible unused ancillary fees when a qualifying cancellation or significant schedule change occurs and the passenger requests a refund instead of accepting alternative transportation.

Is a flight cancellation refund the same as compensation?

Not necessarily. A refund generally concerns unused ticket value, while reimbursement can concern eligible expenses connected with a disruption. The applicable rules and circumstances determine what you may receive.

Can I request reimbursement after a Delta cancellation?

You may be able to request reimbursement for eligible expenses depending on the circumstances. Delta provides a specific refund and reimbursement process through its help center.

What should I keep after my flight is cancelled?

Keep your cancellation notification, booking confirmation, replacement itinerary, receipts, and any messages related to the disruption. These records can help support your request.

How can I get help understanding my cancellation claim?

You can organize your travel information first and contact Tours N Travel Pro for assistance understanding what information may be relevant to your refund or reimbursement request.
