Can I select an easyJet seat after booking my flight?

Yes. easyJet allows passengers to select seats after booking through its website or mobile app, subject to availability. You can use Manage Bookings to view and purchase available seats.

How much does easyJet seat selection cost?

There is no single price for every flight. easyJet says seat fees vary according to the seat category, route, flight, demand, and when the seat is selected. Its current fee schedule lists standard seats from £0.99, Up Front/overwing Extra Legroom seats from £7.99, and first-row Extra Legroom seats from £12.99.

Can I upgrade to an Extra Legroom seat before check-in?

Yes. easyJet states that Extra Legroom and Up Front seats can be selected when booking or before check-in through Manage Bookings, provided seats remain available.

What happens if I do not pay for a seat?

easyJet will automatically allocate a seat when you check in. The airline says it will try to seat passengers from the same booking together, but this is not guaranteed, particularly when checking in closer to departure.

Are easyJet seat fees refundable?

Generally, easyJet's terms state that seat fees are non-refundable, although exceptions apply, including certain situations where easyJet cancels a flight or changes a purchased seat for operational or safety reasons and cannot provide the same or higher seat category.
